Why It’s Special

SPLITS IN TWO

Breaks into head and body units for fitting into tiny spaces

SAME GREAT ARRI LOOK

Keeps the XT image quality even when the camera head is remote

BUILT FOR CRAZY SHOTS

Lets you put the lens where other cameras won’t fit

PLAYS WELL WITH RIGS

Perfect for remote heads, cranes, and custom movie-making tools

Who Uses This Split System

Film teams grab the XT M when they need cameras in cars, tight corners, or custom rigs where a full-size camera won’t work. Action movies use it for crash cams, car chases, and shots where the camera might get smashed, but the recording unit can stay safe.

Bottom Line

The “M” for “Modular” means this camera breaks the rules by breaking apart. It costs more than standard models but solves problems other cameras can’t touch. When the shot calls for putting a lens in a spot where no camera should fit, the XT M makes the impossible possible while keeping that famous ARRI look. This split system earns its place in the toolkit for the trickiest shots on high-end productions.
